Make the Fennel Premix
Grind: Place fennel seeds, rock sugar, cardamom, and peppercorns in a high-speed blender.
Refine: Pulse into a very fine powder. Sieve the mixture to remove any coarse fibers for a smoother drink.
Store: Keep in an airtight container.
Assembly: Zesty Water Version
Chill: Add 5–6 ice cubes and torn mint leaves to a tall glass.
Layer: Add 1 big tsp of Fennel Premix, 1/4 tsp black salt, 1 tbsp soaked basil seeds, and 1 big tsp soaked edible gum.
Mix: Squeeze in half a lemon, top with chilled water, and stir vigorously.
Assembly: Creamy Milk Version
Base: Add 5–6 ice cubes, 1 tbsp soaked basil seeds, and 1 tsp soaked edible gum to a glass.
Sweeten: Add 1 ½ tsp of the Fennel Premix.
Finish: Pour chilled milk to the top and stir until the powder is fully dissolved.
