Ingredients

  • Per Serving
  • 1 cup fresh cucumber roughly chopped (about ½ medium English or Persian cucumber)
  • Less than 1 teaspoon fresh or frozen pink dragon fruit pitaya
  • 8-10 fresh mint leaves spearmint or peppermint
  • Small splash of water for blending
  • 1-2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2-3 tablespoons guava juice Goya or Jumex brand
  • Carbonated water sparkling water
  • Ice
  • Optional Garnishes
  • Fresh mint sprig
  • Cucumber round
  • Lemon peel twist
  • Dragon fruit slice

Instructions

  • Step 1: Blend the Base
  • Add cucumber, dragon fruit, mint leaves, and splash of water to blender
  • Blend on high speed until completely smooth
  • Mixture should be vivid pink with no visible chunks
  • Add water 1 tablespoon at a time if needed for smooth blending
  • Step 2: Strain (Optional)
  • Pour blended mixture through fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth
  • Remove any remaining pulp for smoother texture
  • Skip this step if you prefer thicker, more textured drink
  • Step 3: Season the Base
  • Add 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice to blended mixture
  • Add 2-3 tablespoons guava juice
  • Taste and adjust to preference
  • Should be slightly sweet with bright citrus note
  • Step 4: Build Over Ice
  • Fill tall glass with ice
  • Pour blended mixture over ice
  • Fill glass approximately halfway
  • Step 5: Add Carbonation
  • Pour carbonated water to fill glass
  • Stir gently once with long spoon
  • Avoid vigorous stirring to preserve bubbles
  • Step 6: Garnish and Serve
  • Add garnish of choice
  • Serve immediately while fizzy and cold
